Many thanks to Conferenz for inviting me to speak at the Managing the 24/7 Workforce conference to be held in Auckland on 20-21 May 2014.

As outlined in the conference description, \ 24/7 operating environments can bring a myriad of challenges for those managing the workforces. From sleep disorders and rostering challenges to health and safety and employment relations, this conference uncovers the opportunities and the issues around operating 24/7 workforces.

I’ll be talking on two of my favourite topics: ¬†employee communications and engagement. Of course I’ll focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by our “work-around-the-clock” workforce.
